'Indigo' Gala Recap - Corethics

'Indigo' Gala Recap

Corethics' inaugural Gala ‘Indigo’ brought together over 100 attendees to celebrate Balinese culture and raise funds for our #waste4wealth project. The night featured speeches from our founder Melissa Williams & project beneficiary Pak Pargi as well as moving performances by Suara Indonesian dance group and vocal duo, Jas & Jarod. The Gala raised enough funds to stop >1 million litres of chemical pollutants from entering Bali's environment.

The Corethics Sustainable Fashion Design Challenge finalists were honoured on the night, with garments on display and being auctioned off to aid our cause. Winning designer, Susan Thwaites, of Newcastle took home the trophy and $500 in prize money thanks to GPT Group.

Special recognition goes to our esteemed sponsors: Eat Your Water, LANAH, Beca Hunter H2O, and Eire Constructions, whose support was instrumental in bringing this vision to fruition. 👏

Thank you to everyone who worked to make this special event happen. And thank you to all of our guests who came along, participated in our auction and raffles, and celebrated with us.

You can still support us by donating or purchasing our limited edition Corethics merchandise from Pak Pargi’s factory. You can also access the photos from the night here.
