Lake Macquarie City Council presents the Living Smart Festival on 24th Sept 9 am-2 pm at Speers Point Park. Entry is free!
Hear from Gardening Australia's Costa Georgiadis, take some Yoga in the Park, enjoy the roving performances, local food and drinks, learn about native gardening in one of the many workshops or head over to the kid's zone. There's so much for the whole family to engage in and be inspired by sustainability. Corethics will be joining the many businesses, not-for-profits, and environmental groups as a stallholder on the day. So...
Come along and say hello as we "make the invisible, visible" by exploring the pollution that cannot be seen with the naked eye! Microplastics and chemical pollution are something we hear a lot about but often have never seen with our own eyes. Check out microfibres under a microscope and try your hand at removing dye from water! We'll have something for the kids and for the adults too from Corethics Water Workbook to our 100% Sustainable Jute Tote Bags made by Rana Plaza collapse survivors in Bangladesh. All donations and purchases on the day help us create clean water for our neighbours in Bali, Indonesia. Our friendly volunteers can't wait to meet you!
